Mobile app
SOS Tourist Doctor
A dedicated telehealth app for visitors who want care on their phone: consultations, e-prescriptions and coordination when illness interrupts a stay in Mauritius.
SOS Tourist Doctor helps tourists, expatriates and international students get medical support quickly through secure online consultations, with in-house doctor visits and clinic coordination when a case needs more than a video call.
The app is designed for convenience on holiday: create an account, book a slot, speak with a doctor by text, audio or video, and access notes and prescriptions in one place.
SOS Tourist Doctor is operated separately at sostouristdoctor.com. TouristDoctor and Medic Assistance International remain your 24/7 on-island assistance network for insurers, hotels and direct patient care.
- Immediate medical support for visitors across Mauritius
- Video consultations and in-house doctor visits
- E-prescriptions and coordination with clinics for serious cases
- Continuous assistance via the app or WhatsApp through your care journey
